Rey Mono / Oozaru
This transformation happens to any Saiyan who still has his tail during full moon nights. Like the wolfmen, the Saiyans become a kind of giant gorilla, acquiring great destructive power!
The big problem with this transformation is that the Saiyan has lost total control over his body and mind, becoming a huge animal of destruction.
Super Saiyan
The first time Goku became a Super Saiyan, he will never leave our memories. The character reached this level of power after Krillin’s death, an event that enraged him.
Thanks to the Super Saiyan transformation, Goku defeated the villainous Freezer during an epic battle on the planet Namek. When he transforms into a Super Saiyan, his hair turns red, defies the leyes of gravity, and his eyes change to blue.
Third Grade Super Saiyan
This is the advanced form of the Super Saiyan transformation. However, very little has been used in the entire Dragon Ball franchise. In this transformation, the Saiyan who uses it sees a drastic increase in their power level and their muscle mass becomes much more imposing.
However, this increase in muscle mass makes the warrior much slower, so slow that although the power level is higher, it ends up causing this new form not to compensate.
Super Saiyan 2
Of such a palo, such an astilla. Like his father, Gohan quickly learned to reach the level of Super Saiyan, but nobody expected that he could overcome this transformation so quickly.

Super Saiyan 3
Even today, this is one of the fanatics’ favorite transformations! During the fight with Majin Buu, no warrior seemed powerful enough to defeat the pink villain. Goku surprised everyone once more and became the incredible Super Saiyan 3.
In addition to the ruby appearance, the character still had extremely long hair, and his cheeks disappeared utterly.
Super Saiyan God
The first time Goku achieved this transformation was in the film Dragon Ball Z: La Batalla de los Dioses. In an attempt to approach Bills’ power levels (the gods of destruction), Goku manages to unlock his full potential, reaching a new form.
Here his hair is red, as well as his eyes. However, even this power level was not enough to defeat the God of Destruction, Bills.
Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan
Freezer must have a major trauma with Goku. In the film Dragon Ball Z: The Renaissance of FreezerGoku surprises everyone again, unveiling a new transformation, this time his hairstyle was similar to that of Super Saiyan 1; however, the color of his hair turned blue.
As its name implies, this is the Super Saiyan version, in the form of the Super Saiyan God, revealing that there are different levels in the new transformations!
Super Saiyan Rose
During the series Dragon Ball Super (the last of the franchise), there is a villain called Goku Black. As his name indicates, this character is an evil version of Goku. During one of the episodes, he achieves a form never seen before, that of Super Saiyan Rosé, transforming his hair into a pink color!
This transformation is only possible when a Saiyan with divine power becomes a Super Saiyan (something very rare).
Super Saiyan Fury
During the Future Saga, Trunks had the opportunity to see the villain Goku Black in action for the first time and his Super Saiyan Rosé transformation. But this was not the only new transformation in this saga since Future Trunks could achieve the form of Super Saiyan Fury.
This transformation occurs when a Saiyan is driven to super-high levels of rage. Despite being similar to the Super Saiyan transformation, in this form, we can see that the Saiyan’s eyes are completely white, his hair is even taller, and a blue aura appears around him.
Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Evolution
The Tournament of Power was probably one of the most exciting arcs ever Dragon Ball Super, and with it revealed a new Super Saiyan transformation!
During his battle against Topo, Vegeta left everyone with his mouth open when he managed to achieve a form that Goku never achieved, we are talking about the Super Saiyan Gods’ Super Saiyan Evolution. In this transformation, Vegeta dramatically increases his power level.
His blue hair is a little darker (as well as his eyes) and his physique is much more imposing.
Legendary Super Saiyan / Broly
Although there is no unanimity regarding the identity of the true Legendary Super Saiyan, we are sure that the first persona to achieve this transformation was Broly. At this level, as we saw in the film Dragon Ball Super: Broly Saiyan has slightly green fur, and his power is overwhelming!
In addition to the change in hair color, there is an obvious change in Broly’s body, which has a much more imposing physique.
Bonus: Super Saiyan 4
Finally, we have to comment that despite the fact that this transformation is not all canon for the creator of the saga, we cannot leave it out because of its popularity.
Super Saiyan 4 is a transformation that we see during the saga of Dragon Ball GT, one that the creator decided to ignore completely at the time of the development of Dragon Ball Super. Goku and Vegeta and his fusion, Gogeta, achieve this transformation during the series.
