P.T. Barnum was a thriving American promoter who established what was the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus at 1871.
Born on July 5, 1810, at Bethel, Connecticut, P.T. Barnum turned into a powerful promoter after moving into New York City. By 1841 to 1868, he conducted the Barnum American Museum, which comprised the”Feejee Mermaid,” General Tom Thumb” and other oddities.
